CGO-Widget-FollowJesus-600w The thought of following Jesus Christ as your personal Savior might be a new concept for you or it might be something you’ve thought about for a long time. Either way, the good news is that asking Jesus to be your Lord and Savior is not out of reach or far away.

If God is tugging at your heart right now, and you feel compelled to give your life back to Jesus, we invite you to tell Him so in your own words, or pray this simple prayer:

Dear God, I admit that I am a sinner and that I fall far short of Your glory. My sins have caused a wide gulf between You and me, and I believe that Jesus is the Way, the Truth, and the Life that bridges that gap and leads me into a relationship with You, God, forever. My Lord Jesus, I accept the grace of Your forgiveness and by faith I know that You died on the Cross for my sins, and that through You I may know God the Father. Thank You for hearing my prayer, and for Your unconditional love toward me. Now let me follow You and walk in Your mercy. Please give me the wisdom, strength and desire to walk with You each day forward. In the name of Jesus I pray, amen.”

If you have just prayed to follow Jesus as your Savior, we invite you to tell your Christian friends and family, who can help you in your next steps as a new Christian.

As well, we urge you to read The Bible, starting with the four Gospels about Jesus (Matthew, Mark, Luke, John), and get involved in a church that teaches the Bible as God’s Word.

Congratulations for making the most important decision of your life!

Special Bible Verses for you…
